A 60-story luxury oceanfront condo Armani Residences in Sunny Isles Beach will feature architecture by Cesar Pelli and interiors by Giorgio Armani's Armani/Casa interior Design Studio. Gil Dezer's Dezer Development and Related Group will partnership in developing the project.

Cesar Pelli had the opportunity to branch out and found his own architectural firm in 1977, and his first project was to design an extension for New York’s Museum of Modern Art. Now, he has been able to extend his work to include residential properties, and one of the most notable of these projects is The Residence by Armani/Casa Sunny Isles Beach.

 

Pelli’s designs have become landmarks, and they are known as such in several locations all over the world. Along with the buildings listed above, Pelli also designed West Hollywood’s Pacific Design Center and New York’s Winter Garden. His name is also attached to Tokyo’s NTT Headquarters and Princeton’s Mathematics Building and Lecture Hall at the Institute for Advanced Study in New Jersey. He has also designed hotels, and they are some of the most profitable in Milan and Dubai.

The Armani Residences condominium Sunny Isles Beach is a 60-story tower that contains 260 luxury units and is planned for completion in 2016. The smallest part of this building is on the bottom, but the width increases with each subsequent floor. This makes the top the widest of them all. Another great feature is the fact that every floor only contains five units. On top of that, residents will be so close to the surf and sand that they can visit and enjoy its wonders every day if they like.
